Different interpretations of the same canvas is what makes Un-Kits so special. Camille has been stitching for decades in Northern Saskatchewan and you can see the traditional influence in her piece but with amazing stitch work of so much experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Featuring a neutral pallet the cabin pops using Gobble Gobble, a variegated thread colour stitching vertically across the logs. The bullion stitch in Blackwatch gives the trees a depth and interesting texture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let your imagination run wild and create your own cabin in the woods on the Trailhead Yarns UN-Kit.

Stitched by me, Samantha, I consider myself a Novice stitcher having stitched over many years but preferring simple stitches. Letting the colour do the work is my moto.⠀

It's cold and frosty outside but a warm cabin in the woods with the sun shinning is the perfect cure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Inspired by my favorite childhood game, CandyLand, I embroidered this cabin using a few of my favorite stitches and an unexpected colour pallet. Featuring Rainbow French knot snow and a backstitch frozen pond.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Never embroidered? Not artistic? Not crafty? Don't worry the UN-Kit is a judgement free zone.

This lovely tent was stitched by Leona who does not do anything crafty. Her sister in law Carole was visiting and had an extra Un-Kit when she decided to give it a try. She was quickly hooked and creating her first masterpiece.

This is proof that if you can thread a needle and stab fabric you can embroider your own beautiful piece. ⠀⠀⠀

Dreaming of spring camping trips sitting by the campfire under the stars. For the rugged camper a tent is plenty of shelter to enjoy the great outdoors. Why not bring an embroidery project along. Fit the entire project into a large freezer ziplock and it will stay dry no matter what weather or set of rapids you encounter on your next adventure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stitched by Vanessa, this was her first embroidery project and isn't it lovely. She has experience cross stitching but working with the UN-Kit was a different experience that promoted relaxation with the guidance of lines but no set rules.⠀

Canoeing has been a part of my life since I was a young child. From windy adventure in Algonquin Park at the age of 6 to white water expeditions with @outwardboundcanada at 16 to getting into solo white water after my divorce.

Many of my biggest life moments have been marked with a paddle in my hand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This UN-Kit marks the simplicity and beauty to be found from the lakes and rivers of your dreams. Jack pines line the rocky shoreline and birds fly above.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stitched by Carole @battcrazy64 she even used Portage for the canoe and her favorite colour Shipwreck for the shoreline. She is a beginner stitcher with this being her first embroidery piece. She played with colour in the trees and texture in the gunnels to make this piece a classic. ⠀

It is incredible to see this Un-Kit stitched by the designer who made it happen @geminicheng.

Choose a golden yellow canoe which now makes me want a canoe that colour now. Using only 2 stitches this piece shows it doesn't need to be complicated to be beautiful. Backstitch and satin stitch is all it takes.

Grab the Forest Wonders thread collection and create your own masterpiece.
